A Book Safe

Step one:
Head out to your local used bookstore (I got mine at a Goodwill) and find a cool title that'll accent your magickal library, but is not actually "magickal".
Step two:
Bore the innards out of the book with a razor blade. Personally I was cutting out 2 and three pages at a time...but becareful...the razor is SHARP.
Step three:
Glue the pages together with glue (wood glue would likely be best, but I used Elmers white glue)
Step four:
Place secret objects in your book (a small handgun actually fits in mine...) then put the book up on your shelf for safe keeping!

That's a great idea. Better than spending bukoo bucks on one of the factory made fake books.

*nod* I know hehe...*buff*

Though, after I made this, I heard that the book I destroyed was actually worth something to stage magicians...it seems that the guy that wrote it was special or something.

But that's OK, I really enjoy it as it is now...especially the text that's seen "jewel box" on the bottom of it especially.

Though, to make it even more presentable one could actually do finer cuts then line it with felt or something...

A book safe would make a great gift for friends and family as well..."magickal" or not.

Yeah, that's a good tip. Remember to find out if the book's worth anything, if so, sell it and buy another! =P
